Purpose
Electronic invoicing sends structured invoice data to approved networks and partners required in regulated B2B flows — especially in France and the EU. Facta-Z keeps drafting simple while the compliance layer runs on integrated providers when you enable sync.
Plan requirement
Electronic invoicing sync is included with the Pro plan (and higher tiers when available). Free and Starter workspaces can prepare PDF invoices and operational records but cannot activate regulated transmission until you upgrade.
Enablement flow
After upgrading to Pro, open Settings → Invoicing and follow the electronic invoicing section to connect the provider configured for your deployment. Validation steps confirm company identifiers, tax registration, and channel readiness before the first transmission.
What sync does and does not do
Sync submits eligible issued invoices to the connected provider and surfaces status returned by that provider. It does not replace your obligation to verify customer identifiers, statutory mentions, or sector-specific rules. Always review previews before issue when compliance deadlines apply.
B2B, B2C, and public sector
The workspace supports multiple sales channels. Electronic rules differ by channel and counterparty type; configure the channel that matches each customer relationship. Features visible in the interface depend on provider coverage and the modules active for your tenant.
When transmission is unavailable
If the provider disconnects or maintenance windows apply, continue issuing PDF invoices and track status locally. Reconcile with the provider dashboard before relying on automated sync for closing deadlines. Status indicators in settings show the last known connection state.
